Description
The MKR-28 plug and receptacle connect the motor to its batteries and carry a continuous 60 A at up to 48 V. Pull the plug to disconnect the motor, with no need to undo the battery leads.
It is made for fresh and salt water, and the silver-plated contacts stay reliable in harsh conditions, which at sea means salt, damp and spray over the deck.
The MKR-28 is the recommended replacement for the older MKR-18 plug and receptacle and for the MKR-26. The kit also includes a mounting plate, a dust cover, connection hardware and installation instructions.
