Description

Ultrex QUEST is a bow-mount trolling motor steered by a foot pedal through a cable, with Power Steering assistance. When the foot leaves the pedal, the motor stays pointed where it was left (Steering Lock). The brushless motor runs on 24 V (90 lb (41 kg)) or 36 V (115 lb (52 kg)), with a 45, 52 or 60 inch (114, 132 or 152 cm) shaft.

A Humminbird Dual Spectrum CHIRP or MEGA Down/Side Imaging transducer is built into the lower unit, by version. The GPS system holds the boat in place (Spot-Lock with Jog), holds a heading (AutoPilot) and in Drift Mode controls speed and course while drifting; the small Micro Remote comes with the pedal.

Lift-Assist, with a nitrogen-charged stainless steel gas spring, makes stowing and deploying the motor easier. It is rated for fresh water; for the sea, Minn Kota makes the Riptide models.
