Description

Riptide Transom is a transom-mount trolling motor from Minn Kota's Riptide saltwater line. It is steered by a tiller, and versions run from 40 lb (18 kg) at 12 V to 112 lb (51 kg) at 36 V, with a 30 to 52 inch (76 to 132 cm) shaft.

The bracket clamps to the transom and locks with a lever (Lever Lock). Versions with Digital Maximizer draw only as much current from the battery as the chosen speed needs and have a battery test button on the motor head.

On the 80 and 112 lb (51 kg) versions the tiller tilts and extends; on the 45 and 55 lb (25 kg) versions it telescopes. The lower unit is protected against corrosion by grit-blasting, an aluminium coat and powder coat, and the shaft is composite.
