Description

The APEX 13 MEGA SI+ from Humminbird's APEX series brings sonar, charts and control of connected equipment onto a 13.3-inch (34 cm) Full HD display (1920 × 1080). It works by touch or by keypad (CrossTouch), and views are arranged from the side menu.

It has MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+ and Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar. A second sonar channel takes an extra 2D CHIRP transducer of up to 2 kW, and Airmar transducers are recognised automatically. With the supplied transducer 2D sonar reaches 1,200 ft (about 366 m), and with an optional Airmar CHIRP transducer 3,500 ft (about 1,067 m), which matters in the deeper water of the open Adriatic.

It has internal GPS and AutoChart Live, two Ethernet ports, NMEA 2000, HDMI in and out, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Through the One-Boat Network it works with Minn Kota motors and Talon and Raptor anchors, and it supports Humminbird CHIRP radar, autopilot and MEGA Live.

It comes with an XM 14 HW MSI T transom transducer or without one (CHO), for a boat that already has a transducer or uses MEGA sonar built into a Minn Kota motor. On its gimbal bracket it takes about 40 × 25 cm at the helm.
