Description

The AS HHGPS is an NMEA 0183 cable. On HELIX units with built-in GPS (first-generation HELIX 9–12, HELIX 7–12 G2N and G3N, HELIX 7–15 G4N) and on the 300 to 1100 series it connects an NMEA 0183 device such as a VHF radio or an autopilot: once NMEA output is switched on in the menu, the unit sends NMEA 0183 data from its GPS. It is the required cable for a Humminbird autopilot on HELIX units.

On the older 700, 800, 900 and 1100 series the same kit links a handheld GPS to the Humminbird unit, so position and track show on the larger screen; the data cable for the handheld itself comes from its own maker. The wiring is shown in the instructions.

The kit holds an NMEA cable, a Y cable and instructions. The cable is 91 cm long.
